About Us

I love working with my hands. Ever since I was young, I have loved to make things and working with any materials, wood, metal, cardboard, clay, computers, and pretty much anything that something can be made with. Then glass found and entranced me.

I think I might have been destine to work or do something with glass since I was five years old, when I watched a lamp worker at our local mall. And asked for one of his glass ships for Christmas. Which I still have to this day.

So, you know that feeling when you see something so beautiful, stunning, amazing, awesome(in the truest form of the word), that your heart stops for a second. That you forget to breath. That feeling that transcends all of human cultures. That is what I am trying to accomplish with every piece.

自分の手で何かを創り出すことに誇りを持っています。小さいころから、いろいろな素材（木、金属、カードボード、粘土、PC等）を使ってなにかを創ることが好きです。そんな中、ガラスに出会い、ガラスに魅了されました。

恐らく、ガラスで何かを創るということは5歳の頃に地元のショッピングモールでガラス作家が作品を作っているところを見た時から決まっていたのかもしれない。そのショッピングモールで出会ったガラス作家へクリスマスに一つ作品を送ってもらえるように頼み、今でも大切にしている。

美しく、輝いていて、素敵なものを見るとき、心臓が数秒止まった感覚になります。息をすることを忘れてしまうのです。それは、人間の文化を超えた感情です。わたしが創るひとつひとつの作品は、自分の一部なのです。
